TALLAHASSEE, FL -- Malika Clary ran the 200m in 23.97 seconds at the Seminole Twilight hosted by Florida State University on Saturday.
The time was good enough for a third-place finish, but she came up short of an NCAA Regional qualifying time by 0.01 seconds (23.96 seconds).
Jian Jones won the high jump with a height of 5-1 and finished in eighth in the 100m dash with a time of 12.21 seconds.
Lindsay Glover also ran well in the 400m hurdles, and she also narrowly missed a regional qualifying time with a 1:02.28 lap around the track. Her effort was good for a fourth-place finish, but she came up 1.2 seconds shy of the regional qualifying time.
The Owls will send a select few athletes to Georgia Tech on April 12 to take part in the final meet of the season prior to the NCAA Regional meet in Greensboro, SC. It will be the last chance for those athletes to qualify for regionals.
