Owls End Regular Season at Last Chance Meet

ATLANTA, GA -- Yanique Booth ran an NCAA regional qualifying time at the Last Chance meet hosted by Georgia Tech as the women's track team from Florida Atlantic University completed their regular season competitions on Saturday.
Booth had previously qualified for the event with a time of 14.30 seconds at the Golden Knight Twilight on April 30.
Other Owls who took part in the Last Chance meet included Jian Jones, who finished 25th in the 100m dash preliminaries with a time of 12.15 seconds, Malika Clary who finished 14th in the 200m dash with a time of 24.31 seconds, Marilyn Stephens who finished the 400m prelims in 55.61 seconds, and Linsday GLover who finished the 400m Hurdles in 1:04.25.
Booth, Krystena Castro (discus) and the 4x400m relay team will take part in the NCAA Regional meet. Castro and the relay team qualify based on their victories at the A-Sun Championship.
The three qualifying parties will travel to Greensboro, SC for an NCAA Regional meet on May 26-27.
