Freshman Amy Bukovich (Boca Raton, Fla.) scored the decisive run in the 11th and had a suicide squeeze in the second to score classmate Kala Guy (Hollywood, Fla.) with the game's first run. A groundout by junior Shauna Corso (Seal Beach, Calif.) brought Sachs home in the seventh.
Florida Atlantic trailed 4-1 entering the sixth inning but scored five runs total in the final two innings of regulation to take a 6-4 advantage heading into the bottom of the seventh. Arriaga jumpstarted a two-out rally with a double in the sixth, when Mandie Fishback (Banks, Ore.) and Guy recorded one RBI and one run each.
