Six Individuals Named All-Conference

BOCA RATON, FL -- Six members of the Florida Atlantic University women's track and field team earned Atlantic Sun All-Conference honors over the weekend at the A-Sun Championships.

Malika Clary (Tallahassee, FL), Marilyn Stephens (Miami, FL), Yanique Booth (Kingston, Jamaica), Lindsay Glover (Knoxville, TN), Jian Jones (Tallahassee, FL)and Krystena Castro (Nanuet, NY) all earned their way onto the postseason squad thanks to top-three finishes in their respective events. Their accomplishments are listed below:

Malika Clary 200m 24.02 (2nd)
Marilyn Stephens 400m 55.71 (3rd)
Yanique Booth 100m Hurdles 14.13 (2nd)
Lindsay Glover 400m Hurdles 1:01.90 (2nd)
Jian Jones high jump 5-3 (3rd)
Krystena Castro discus 133-06 (1st)

In addition to the six individuals, the Owls had two relay teams finish in the top three. The 4x400m relay team won the conference title, while the 4x100m relay team finished second. FAU finished in third-place overall among the 11 A-Sun members.
