Strong Singles Play Earns FAU a 4-3 Victory

Boca Raton, FL - Despite being slowed with injury, Florida Atlantic University's women's tennis team picked up a 4-3 victory over Dartmouth University, Monday afternoon at Patch Reef Tennis Center.
FAU opened the match with a victory at no. 1 doubles but could not cash in the doubles point with a loss at no. 2 and a default due to injury at three.
The Owls then picked up a victory with no. 2 singles and a victory by Elodie Wendling and a victory at no. 6 single with a win by Pia Terol to have an even score at 2-2.
Claudia Kecht then broke the two all tie with a victory at no. 1 singles and Sandra Moreno-Perragaard scored the match's deciding point with a win at no. 5 singles.
The Owls will next play host to the University of Louisiana-Lafayette and Brown, March 26 and 27, respectively.
