Owls fall in tight tennis match to Yale

Boca Raton, FL - Florida Atlantic University's women's tennis team had a hard fought Saturday with the final and deciding point coming in a three set match that was a first set tie breaker, in fact three of the six singles matches needed a third and deciding set with Yale coming away with the 4-3 victory.
Claudia Kecht, playing her third match of the season at no. 1 singles, defeated Yale's Rashmee Patil in straight sets 7-6 (5), 6-4. Pia Terol also won in straight sets 7-5, 6-2.
FAU will next play host to North Texas 1 p.m., Monday, at Patch Reef Park.
