Boca Raton, FL - David Demers captured his fourth-consecutive match in Florida Atlantic University's 6-1 loss to UCF Sunday afternoon at Patch Reef Park.
While Demers continued his hot streak the Owls got better production at the bottom of the line-up. Mauricio Paiz and J.P. Brounassar pushed their no. three doubles match to 8-5 while Akin Akman fell at no. six singles 6-2, 6-4.
FAU, 2-6, will next play 1 p.m., Saturday, February 25 at Patch Reef Park.
