BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University used a season-best 51.7 percent shooting night from the field to propel themselves to an 82-57 victory over Campbell on Friday night in the first round of the FAU Invitational.
"We came together both offensively and defensively," said Head Coach Chancellor Dugan. "We created turnovers and found ways to score. It's important now to take this momentum into tomorrow."

In the second, Campbell got FAU's lead down no farther than 18 points as Florida Atlantic created a season best 38 turnovers that they converted into 47 points. An 18-3 run in the games final six minutes gave the Owls their biggest margin of victory this year.
