BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University men's tennis team participated in the Florida State Invitational last weekend, and came away with outstanding individual and doubles results.
The FSU Invite was the fourth tournament of the 2006 fall season and was just another opportunity for the young Owls to play the nation's best.
Freshmen Olivier Sajous and Daniel Vardag continue to shine as true freshmen while sophomore transfer Eddie Majcher also had an outstanding performance in Tallahassee.
"These two freshmen (Sajous and Vardag) and sophomore (Majcher) had wins over players from Florida State, Miami, Auburn and Kentucky," said David Komie, FAU's head coach. "Olivier beat another ranked opponent. All in all, I'd have to say that the weekend was a success."
