Hedges Signs with Baseball

Justin Hedges signed a National Letter of Intent with the Florida Atlantic University baseball team to bring the signing total to 10 for the Owls during the early signing period. A native of Royal Palm Beach, FL, he is the eighth local player to commit to FAU.

An infielder from Royal Palm Beach High School, Hedges hit .289 last year with three home runs and 21 RBI. Over the summer he played for Hammertime Performance where he hit .412 with two home runs and 28 RBI.

"Justin is a very good athlete that can play multiple positions on the field," said FAU Recruiting Coordinator John McCormack. "I am impressed by how hard he plays and his passion for the game. He will fit in very well here."
