Men's Soccer To Continue Conference Play

BOCA RATON, FL - The Florida Atlantic University men's soccer team will look to rebound from a disappointing week as they continue Atlantic Soccer Conference play against Hartwick.

The Owls went 0-2-0 last week, losing a pair of 1-0 matches to USF and Adelphi. Their record stands at 0-1-1 in conference play and 3-7-1 overall.

The losses overshadowed a strong defensive performance for the Owls. The Owls only allowed 7 shots on goal over the two matches and held their eighth opponent of the season to one goal or less.

"We can work on improving as a team and still have to focus on Hartwick because they are our only opponent this week," head men's soccer coach Kos Donev said.

Saturday's match will also provide FAU with a chance to improve its position in the conference standings and qualify for a spot in the conference tournament, where the top four teams in the league will compete.

Action on Saturday begins at 7 p.m. in Oneonta, NY.
