Owls fall to University Miami 6-1

Coral Gables, FL - Florida Atlantic University's men's tennis team extended their season opening road swing with a 6-1 loss to the University of Miami, Saturday afternoon at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center.
Mauricio Paiz led the Owl's charge with a 6-4, 6-4 victory over John Hoyes. Despite Paiz's efforts FAU fell to 0-4 on the season while the University of Miami, ranked no. 39, improved to 1-0.
Kevin Obletz face the nation's no. 87 player in Josh Cohen but fell 6-1, 6-3 in the no. 1 slot.
Miami has a great team that took it to us," FAU head coach David Komie said. "We played hard from beginning to end. I'm proud of the way we fought."
