Colorado Springs, CO - Hey all,
Well it's been a while since I last wrote you. I got some great news this past weekend. I finished 11th overall at Pro Nationals and I was the 10th American. This was a really good result for me since six of the top 10 guys who are ranked in the world started the race. Also for the first time I got to race the entire US Olympic team at once. Since I was the second Under-23 athlete to cross the finish line I qualify for the September World Championships in Gamagory, Japan. This will be my first world championships as an Under-23 so hopefully everything will go well.
My next race will be the Key Biscayne Trilogy #3 on August 28. This will be my last race before worlds and I'll be racing for team Jamba Juice/Runners Depot, then Japan on September 10 and Escape to Miami on September 18.
I also want to let all of you know that I start school in two weeks here in Colorado Springs so for the next couple of weeks I'm going to be really busy.
I want to thank you all for supporting me all this years. Without you guys I don't think I could have made it so far.
ciao
Manny
