Bomback Signs with Baseball

Danny Bomback became the 10th player to sign a National Letter of Intent with Florida Atlantic University's baseball during the early signing period. The Broward Community College product will come to FAU in the fall of 2006 as an infielder.

A native of Davie, FL, Bomback attended Westminster Academy before attending BCC where he hit .358 with four home runs and 20 stolen bases in his freshman campaign to be named to the all-conference team.

"Danny is an accomplished offensive player that can play multiple positions," said FAU recruiting coordinator John McCormack. "I have enjoyed watching Danny take over ballgames with his glove, bat and legs. FAU fans will enjoy watching him play."

The Owls advanced to their sixth NCAA Regional in seven seasons in 2005. The team is coached by Kevin Cooney who has spent 18 seasons at the helm of the program.
