Owls Season Opener Moved

BOCA RATON, FL -- Due to damage inflected to FAU Arena by Hurricane Wilma, the Florida Atlantic University women's basketball team will host the FAU Tip-Off Classic at Broward Community College's central campus located in Davie, FL.

The Tournament will be held on Nov. 18 -19 at the George Mayer Gymnasium. The Owls will open their regular season on the 18th vs. Navy and battle Delaware State on the 19th.

The teams competing in the tournament are FAU, Navy, Delaware State, and Monmouth.

An exhibition game on Friday Nov. 11 against Nova Southeastern will prepare the Owls for the tournament. That game will be played at Broward Community College's north campus located in Coconut Creek, FL.
