Fort Myers, FL -- June Bolme of Florida Atlantic University finished in third place at the GSU Pelican Preserve Invite. Bolme's three-round total of 225 (73-77-75) led the Owls to a sixth place team finish.
The Norway native has two top-ten finishes in both tournaments this fall. She finished in seventh-place at the BCC Invitational in September.
Freshman Praewnapa Phol-Uayporn shot the second-lowest score of the final round by posting a one under 71. Her three-round total of 227 (78-77-71) earned her an 11th place finish.
Fellow freshman Kimberly D'Andrea came on strong in the final two rounds with scores of 78 and 79. She finished tied at 42nd place. Junior Sandi MacDougall posted a three round mark of 244 (79-81-84) to earn a 41st place finish.
The Owls finished the par 72, 6,104 yard course with 938 (316-313-309) total strokes over three rounds.
USF was the overall winner with a score of 907 (308-299-300). Jaclyn Perlman of Campbell University was the individual winner, carding in 222 (78-74-70) strokes over three rounds.
The Owls will tee it up again on Oct. 23 at the GSU Fall Invitational.
