Boca Raton, FL - Florida Atlantic University's women's soccer matches against the University of Georgia and Florida State have been cancelled, announced Athletics Director Craig Angelos. Men's soccer is scheduled to play in the FIU/Diadora Soccer Classic. That tournament has also been suspended. Teams will leave the possibility of rescheduling open. The men's and women's cross country teams were scheduled to run in the UCF Invitational. That meet has also been cancelled. The women's volleyball team is scheduled to depart for Davidson, NC, to participate in the Mizuno Wildcat Classic and will continue as planned. The football team will continue with its plans to play at Hawaii scheduled for Saturday night at 6:05 HST (12:05 EDT). That game can be heard on WLVJ 1040 AM, WKAT 1360 AM and WPSL 1590 AM, unless the broadcast is preempted for hurricane coverage. Those who want to follow the live action can do so via television and radio. Residents of Palm Beach, Glades, Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee and St. Lucie Counties can watch the game live on WTCN TV-15. The game will also be televised live on Fox Sports Network (FSN) West 2. Fans who use the Dish Network or DirecTV can watch the game on a delayed basis, Sunday, September 5 at noon on Empire Sports Network.
