Braggins Named to All-Regional Team

LINCOLN, NE - Florida Atlantic University's Jessica Braggins was named to the All-Regional Team at the Lincoln Regional. The Owls just completed their sixth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance with a 2-2 mark at the regional. Braggins batted .444 (4-for-9) in FAU's four games with one home run and three RBIs.
The junior's efforts included a two-run homer in FAU's opening game against Creighton. She followed that up with an RBI against Lehigh. Braggins hit safely in all four games and also had a double in the Mississippi State game.
Braggins finished third on the team with a .284 average. She led the Owls in homers (9) and RBIs (33).
FAU (56-18) finished the 2004 season with the third-most wins in school history. Its eight straight A-Sun championships extends a conference record.
