FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) - Roosevelt Bynes caught two touchdown passes from Jared Allen to lead Florida Atlantic to a 17-10 win over Florida International at Pro Player Stadium on Saturday.
Florida International (3-7) rallied late, getting a 5-yard touchdown pass from Josh Padrick to Chandler Williams with 11 seconds left in the game. The Golden Panthers recovered the onside kick at Florida Atlantic's 48-yard line, but Padrick's final two passes fell incomplete.
The Owls (9-3) sealed their victory when Allen scrambled away from the Golden Panthers rush and hit Bynes streaking down the sideline for a go-ahead 51-yard touchdown with 3:32 left in the game.
Allen was 25-for-34 with two touchdowns and 311 yards while Padrick was 26-for-44 for 277 yards and one touchdown.
