Women's Basketbal Signs Cox

BOCA RATON, FL -- Florida Atlantic University women's basketball head coach Chancellor Dugan has announced the signing of Breana Cox to a National Letter of Intent to attend FAU and play basketball beginning in 2005-06. Cox is the first future Lady Owl to sign during the early signing period that started Wednesday.

Cox is a 6-2 post player from Daytona Beach, FL. She is currently a senior at Seabreeze High School.

"Breana runs the floor so well and has great timing as a shot-blocker," said Dugan. "She has a definite low-post presence.With her work ethic and desire, she'll contribute right away."

Florida Atlantic begins its 2004-05 season November 19 at Middle Tennessee.
