Basketball Bash Precursor to 2004-05 Season

Florida Atlantic University's basketball teams are getting ready to start the 2004-05 season on Saturday. In preparation for the year, the men's and women's teams were introduced to the university at the Basketball Bash on Friday night at FAU Gym.

Free food and giveaway were accompanied by music before the teams were introduced at 10:30 to the crowd. Women's head coach Chancellor Dugan and men's coach Sidney Green addressed the crowd before the dance team and cheerleaders interacted with the fans.

The Lady Owls will play an exhibition game on November 7 against Florida Golf Coast University before traveling to future Sun Belt opponent Middle Tennessee to open the regular season.

The men face Barry University in an exhibition game on November 6 before traveling to Miami to open the season at Florida International.
