BOCA RATON, FL - Already having been named the Atlantic Sun Men's Soccer Player-of-the-Year, Florida Atlantic University's Kristoffer Aarskog became the first player in program history to be named to the National Soccer Coaches Association All-South Region First Team.
The junior from Bergen, Norway, guided the Owls to their first 11-win season since 1996, the most conference wins in a season in program history and the team's third A-Sun final in seven years. He broke the school record for goals and points in a season en route to finishing fourth in the nation in points per game and fifth in goals per game. In two seasons at Florida Atlantic, Aarskog has amassed 28 goals, eight assists and 64 points.
Aarskog scored 17 goals and 40 points as he was named to his second consecutive A-Sun First-Team. He was one of three players to score over 10 goals and 20 points as the team finished third in the nation in goals per game.
