Georgia Tech comes in with 12 players and four starters returning from last year's 20-11 team. The Yellow Jackets are coming off a fourth-place finish in the Atlantic Coast Conference and are once again picked to finish fourth in this year's preseason poll.
This will be the first meeting between the two teams. The game is the first of four straight for FAU at home. The Lady Owls will host the FAU/Embassy Suites Classic November 28-29. They will conclude the stretch with their A-Sun opener against Central Florida on December 4.
The game will feature a food drive and free t-shirts to the first 100 fans. Fans are encouraged to bring a canned food item. The FAU football team will also be on hand. Fans will have the opportunity to register for free tickets to the FAU-FIU football game Saturday afternoon. The game will also feature a halftime performance by the National Gymnastics Team.
