Women's Tennis Dominates Army

BOCA RATON, FL - The Florida Atlantic University women's tennis team continued to roll Sunday with a 7-0 victory over visiting Army. The win was the Lady Owls' ninth straight and improves their record to 12-4 on the year. FAU won all of the singles matches in straight sets.
Highlights for the Lady Owls included a win by Karolina Roubickova at no. 3 over Army's Marissa Limsiaco. The 6-4, 6-2 victory improved Roubickova to 15-0 on the year. She is currently ranked no. 109 in the nation. Tania Rivera won at no. 2 for her ninth straight win while Stephanie Beaulieu picked her seventh consecutive victory with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Jaclyn Ott at no. 5. Alena Dvorakova, Maria Aguirre-Gomez, and Jessica Burrow also enjoyed victories. FAU swept all three doubles matches.
Florida Atlantic next faces Colorado March 29 at 11:00am in Boca Raton.
