TALLAHASSEE, FL - Florida Atlantic University completed its busy weekend road trip with a match at no. 35 Florida State University Sunday afternoon. The result was a 5-1 loss to the Seminoles as the Lady Owls dropped to 3-4 on the year.
With the threat of inclement weather, the teams decided to begin the match with singles play. FSU won five of six of those matches to take the overall victory. FAU's lone victory came at no. 6 where Karolina Roubickova defeated FSU's Amberly Tantee 6-1, 6-3. The win improved Roubickova to a perfect 7-0 on the year.
Florida Atlantic next plays Jacksonville February 23.
