Myers Named TAAC Softball Co-Player of the Week

MACON, GA - Florida Atlantic University's Nicole Myers has been named Trans America Athletic Conference Co-Player of the Week.

The honor marked the second time the junior has earned Player of the Week honors. She has received Pitcher of the Week honors five times and was named both in the same week once this season. She is the only player to earn dual honors, in the same week.

Last week, Myers was 6-for-16 from the plate with a .375 batting average. She added to her league leading homerun total with three more shots out of the park for a total of 19 on the season. Myers recorded eight RBIs and one double for the Week.

She leads the country in strikeouts per seven innings (11.4) and is third in homers per game and tied for first in total homers (19).
