Softball Cracks Top-25

Florida Atlantic University is ranked 25th in the nation in the latest USA Today/National Fastpitch Coaches Association Top 25. FAU moved up three spots from last week's poll, receiving 37 points in the latest vote. The Lady Owls are the second-highest ranked team in the state of Florida behind no. 16 FSU.

This is the first time this season FAU (32-12, 1-1 Trans America Athletic Conference) has broken into the top-25 as the team was listed as receiving votes for the first five polls. The highest FAU has been ranked is 21st on two separate occasions last year.

The team next plays a doubleheader April 5 at Campbell University.
