Myers Named TAAC Softball Pitcher of the Week

MACON, GA - Nicole Myers has been named Trans America Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week. It is the second time this season for the junior to earn such honors.

Last week, she pitched 31 innings and posted a 3-1 record. The lone loss was to no. 16 FSU, a team she defeated two days earlier. She pitched a total of 17 innings against FSU, the first took 11 innings to grab the victory. She struck out 28 FSU batters and allowed just two hits.

Her week's efforts included 49 strikeouts and a 0.23 ERA. She gave up a total of nine hits, two runs, one earned. Aiding in her effort, she was 6-for-12 at the plate with two homers and 10 RBI.

Myers earned MVP of the Worth Invitational Tournament, hosted by FAU.
