Goalie Receives Weekly Honor Again

The Trans America Athletic Conference has named Florida Atlantic University's Jonas Kolstad its Defensive Player-of-the Week. Kolstad was honored for the second consecutive week after recording two shutouts in FAU's three matches last week. He allowed just one goal in the other match.

Kolstad, a sophomore from Norway, has three shutouts in FAU's first six matches and has helped lead the Owls to a 4-2 record and a four-match winning streak. He has not allowed a goal in the past 239 minutes. Overall, he has a 0.67 goals against average.

Last week, Kolstad led FAU to wins over South Florida (2-1), Central Connecticut State (2-0), and DePaul (1-0).
