Men's Soccer Match Canceled

MIAMI, FL -

Florida Atlantic University's men's soccer match Sunday versus Evansville University was canceled due to severe weather. At the FIU Golden Panther Classic, heavy rain delayed the start of the match nearly one hour and thirty minutes. Then, with FAU trailing 1-0 in the first half, the match was called due to heavy rain and lightning 20:30 into the match.

FAU was coming off its Friday night upset of fourth-ranked Alabama-Birmingham. The Owls (1-2) will next host South Florida, September 13 in their home opener.
