Joined Florida Atlantic in the fall of 2025 as an assistant athletic trainer.
Responsible for managing the healthcare of the men’s & women’s swimming and diving teams.
Athletic Training Student At Arizona
At the University of Arizona worked with football, beach volleyball, softball, and men’s and women’s track and field programs beginning in August of 2023.
While working with the football program, utilized ThermoHuman, KangaTech, and VALD to analyze and assess training and recovery programs to achieve rehabilitation goals.
Contributed to daily injury report meetings with football athletic training staff regarding player status, rehabilitation goals, and documentation into SmartaBase.
Engaged in weekly simulations of spine boarding and cardiac emergencies to enhance rapid response skills and team coordination with emergency response personnel.
Trusted to cover beach volleyball practices independently, managing athlete care, injury prevention, and on-field triage without direct supervision.
Provided guidance and instruction to undergraduate students by teaching evidence-based approaches to therapeutic modalities and treatment approaches.
Assisted with heat illness preparedness for the men’s and women’s track and field programs, including rectal thermometer assessments and cold-water immersion setup for emergency cooling. Also assisted with post-race triage.
At Wisconsin
At the University of Wisconsin worked with men’s and women’s soccer, men’s tennis, men’s and women’s cross country, and football collaborating daily with preceptor, physical therapists, and team physicians regarding player status, documentation, and rehabilitation goals.
While working with men’s and women’s soccer, evaluated lower extremity injuries and conditions and assisted with design and implementation of rehabilitation programs for three long-term ACL athletes under the supervision of preceptor.
With the football program, taped, set up modalities, monitored rehabilitation evaluated injuries, and assisted preceptors in clinical decision making and return-to-play protocols.
Assisted with hydration and medical tent set-up along with wound care to athletes with abrasions, epistaxis, and other acute injuries at finish line of cross country meets.
Athletic Training Undergraduate Student Intern At Minnesota
Collaborated daily with other athletic training student interns for daily hydration set-up for practices and competitions.
Assisted athletic trainers with upper and lower extremity injury prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation programs.
Practiced taping and bracing skills, modality set-up/use, and emergency action plan protocols for spine boarding and splinting on the field.
Personal Education: Earned a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology from the University of Minnesota in May of 2023. Furthered her education, receiving a Master of Science degree in Athletic Training, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in May of 2025. Certifications: BOC Certified Athletic Trainer, BLS for Healthcare Providers and American Red Cross.
