Long-time South Florida sports broadcaster Frank Forte joined FAU in March of 2017 as the Coaches Show and Feature Producer and Host. Forte joined the Owls after spending the previous 11 years at Fox Sports Florida/Sun Sports, where he covered the Miami Marlins and Florida Panthers. Forte served a number of roles in his time with Fox Sports Florida, including sideline reporter, pre and postgame host, feature reporter, as well as producing pre and postgame content and critically acclaimed specialty shows "Inside The Marlins" and "Inside The Panthers".

Prior to his time at Fox Sports Florida, he was a sports anchor and reporter for WPLG-TV(ABC) in Miami for 23 years, during which Forte covered all local sports and national events such as the World Series, NBA playoffs, NHL Stanley Cup Finals, the NFL, and NCAA Championships in baseball and football as well as the NCAA basketball tournament. His experiences have helped Forte to three regional sports Emmy Awards.

In the fall of 2016, Frank helped launch a new television broadcast show highlighting FAU football, "Inside the Owls' Burrow", where he served as host, producer and editor of a weekly 30 minute show giving viewers player and coach profiles and behind the scenes access to the Owls' football program.

Frank resides in Pembroke Pines, Fla.
