Mitchell Morgan returned to Florida Atlantic University after spending one year as the director of marketing for a non-profit organization. His return allowed Morgan to spearhead a new division for FAU as the assistant athletics director for broadcast and live productions. In that role, he will have direct oversight of an athletics television truck as well as building the staffing to shoot more than 100 events a year.
In his first stint at FAU, Morgan joined the media relations team in August 2018 as the Electronic Media and Video Coordinator. In his role, he concentrates on providing live streams and videos to all Olympic sports and basketball.
Morgan joins the Owls team after serving as the assistant director of creative services at Louisiana Tech University during the 2017-2018 season. With the Bulldogs, Morgan setup live streams and served as the main contact for all Olympic sports.
Upon graduating from the University of Central Arkansas, Morgan held a technical director position for the Arkansas Travelers during in-house broadcasts and live streams on MILB.com.
While a student at Central Arkansas, Morgan held several videographer and reporter roles. He worked as the technical director for the on-campus TV station where he hosted weekly coaches shows, filmed football games, as well as reported and announced baseball games for television.
Morgan graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism in 2017.
