Kat Cunningham arrived at Florida Atlantic in July of 2025 as the women's soccer assistant coach.
Cunningham joins the staff after playing one year under Baker during the 2024 season. As an Owl, she appeared in 16 out of the 18 games. Prior to her time at FAU, she spent two years at Florida Tech, where she started in all 23 games, totaling 1566 minutes in her last season as a Panther in 2023. During that campaign, Cunningham hit a game-winning goal and registered seven assists on the year. She finished the season with the fifth-highest assists in the conference, earned All-Sunshine State Conference Second Team honors, USC All-Region Second Team, and Fall SSC Honor Roll.
The London, England native started her collegiate career in the United States at USC Upstate, where she spent one year. Cunningham previously attended John Madejski Academy in Reading, U.K.
