Garrett Franskousky was named senior associate athletics director for compliance at Florida Atlantic University in March of 2025.
Franskousky will have the responsibility of monitoring, educating and enforcement efforts within the compliance department. Along with overseeing the compliance department, he will serve on the athletics executive staff and will have sport supervision responsibility.
Prior to FAU, Franskousky spent nearly three years as Vanderbilt's director of compliance where he served as the primary compliance contact for rules education programming with coaches, administrators and representatives of athletics interest, while also managing all NCAA legislative relief waivers and extensions of eligibility requests.
He joined the Commodores after four years with Marshall, beginning his career in collegiate athletics as assistant director of compliance in August 2019 before a promotion to director of compliance in July 2021.
Born and raised in Boca Raton, Franskousky earned a bachelor of science in finance and sport management from Florida State University in 2016. He completed a law degree from the University of Miami in 2019, graduating cum laude from each institution. He was admitted to practice law in the state of Florida in 2019.
