Joined California State University, Northridge in April of 2022 as a tutor and Structured Study Hall Coordinator/Academic Advisor, helping to oversee and implement new study hall tracking methods for all 400+ student athletes while aiding in the initial eligibility and transfer evaluation process
Tasked with hiring, training and supervising 20+ undergraduate and graduate CSUN students to become impactful components to academic support services while reviewing and tracking NCAA eligibility requirements, creating graduation plans and holistically advising men’s and women’s golf teams
At Baylor University
Joined Baylor University as an Assistant Academic Counselor in July of 2021, meeting with a cohort of 31 student-athletes to develop and implement individual academic success plans in coordination with learning specialists and communicating any academic concerns and progress to coaching staffs in the form of grade reports and weekly meetings
Continuously tracked and monitored progress toward degree requirements for the entire cohort of student-athletes
Advised class section in collaboration with on campus advising staff while facilitating “Bear Camp”, a summer bridge programming and strategic learning course to freshman student-athletes
At University of Louisville
Joined the University of Louisville athletic department in July of 2019 as an adidas intern for Student-Athlete Leadership and Development. preparing and facilitating sexual assault prevention workshops utilizing the OneLove curriculum while also planning and executing community service opportunities that increased community engagement among all student - athletes that led to winning a national service award with HelperHelper
Elevated to Assistant Academic Counselor in August of 2020, helping develop and organize a career development program called “Cardinal Career Cohort” for junior student-athletes and advised assigned student-athletes on class selections based on career goals and eligibility requirements
Met weekly with members of the football, women’s basketball, women’s soccer, and softball teams to create and progress toward their academic goals and coordinate objective based study halls with baseball and football student-athletes
Communicated any academic concerns to the football coaching staff in the form of grade reports and weekly meetings
Personal Education: Earned a Bachelor’s degree from Florida State University in Sport Management in December of 2018. Furthered her education with a Master of Science degree in Sport Administration from the University of Louisville in May of 2021.
