Ariana Palmer joined Florida Atlantic in September of 2025 as Senior Associate Athletic Director/Marketing and Brand.
Palmer moved to Paradise after serving five years at Delaware, first as a member of the marketing and engagement staff and was then elevated in 2024 to Assistant Athletic Director, Marketing & Engagement.
While at Delaware, Palmer worked with nearly every team in some fashion, and she served as the primary marketing contact for men’s basketball, softball, men’s and women’s golf. She also worked as the secondary contact for volleyball as well as men’s and women’s swimming and diving. Additionally, Palmer led the digital marketing efforts, including email marketing and digital signage around campus.
Palmer played a pivotal role on a team that increased the 2022-23 men’s basketball revenue by 50%, marking the second highest earning season in Delaware history. Future Hens Club saw a 100% increase in membership from the 2021-22 season and Delaware’s NGWSD Clinic welcomed the highest number of attendees since its inception due to her efforts.
During the ‘21-22 season, Palmer assisted the department with student engagement initiatives and digital marketing coordination including leading the charge on the 2022 student bus activation which allowed students to attend the 2022 men’s and women’s Colonial Athletic Association Basketball Tournaments.
Palmer arrived in Newark following a stint with LEARFIELD Amplify (formally LEARFIELD Ticket & Seat Solutions) at the University of Pittsburgh. She served as a marketing coordinator where she worked within the Panthers ticket office to help generate over $50,000 in ticket sales revenue in just ten months.
A native of Burlington, N.J., Palmer spent two years working for Cox Automotive in Bordentown, N.J. as a marketing coordinator and as a client services specialist.
Before earning her master’s degree in Sports Management from Drexel University in 2019, Palmer was as a four-year varsity member of the swimming & diving team at Rider University, where she served as senior captain and holds numerous top-10 all-time team records. Palmer earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and sports management with minors in Spanish and business and leadership..
Palmer is a member of the National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) where she serves on various committees to help generate ideas on how to increase revenue and better fan experience throughout our industry.
