Upcoming Event: Women's Soccer versus Tulsa on September 25, 2025 at 7 p.m.

Wilson, a three-time national champion while playing at the University of North Carolina (1994, 1996 and 1997), also brings international and professional playing experience to working with FAU players. She was a defender on the United States[apos] 1996 Olympic gold medal-winning team and won two professional championships.
Wilson is also looking forward to the opportunity to work with Owls[apos] players to achieve success in the competitive Sun Belt Conference. The team will be returning a strong core of experienced players for the 2012 season.
Wilson[apos]s coaching career has featured serving as an assistant coach for the Philadelphia Independence of the Women[apos]s Professional Soccer, from 2009-10; head coach of the Loudoun Youth Soccer Association[apos]s Under-12 and Under-13, from 2004-2006; director of soccer training at the Perfect Competition Athletic Development in Davie from 2006-2007; and coach of the Under-9, Under-13 and Under-14 girls for the Weston Fury Soccer Club in Weston from 2006-2008.
Most recently, Wilson was the strength, speed and agility coach at Howard University during the 2010 and 2011 spring seasons, and head coach/team trainer for the Under-17 girls team in Cooper City.
Wilson earned a bachelor[apos]s degree in physical education-exercise physiology from the University of North Carolina.
