Fitzroy Anthony joined the Florida Atlantic University women's basketball coaching staff as an assistant coach in August 2012.
After his first season at FAU, the Owls transitioned to Conference USA, making the jump from the Sun Belt Conference.
Anthony, a Boca Raton native, comes to FAU after earning Broward County Coach of the Year honors at Coral Springs Charter School, where his teams had consecutive 20-win seasons. Last winter, Coral Springs captured its first district and regional championships, along with a Final Four state tournament appearance.
Besides high school, Anthony also recently coached the Miami Suns AAU team to the National Junior Gold Showcase championship.
