Why I Chose FAU: "It's a division I school that is close to home. The beach is right here and there is a good level of tennis in Florida.
As a Sophomore ('07-'08): Ended the season with a 3-1 record and a 2-0 mark while playing no. 6 singles in dual match play...dual match victories were over Belmont and Bethune-Cookman...was 1-1 in doubles play, both in tournaments.
As a Freshman ('06-'07): Redshirted
High School: Played for Michael Kypriss at Dr. Krop High School where he was a two-time state singles champion and a member of the 2003 state championship team.
Personal: Psychology major...son of Osvald and Frida Benitez...born Sept. 15, 1987 in Argentina.
