Dan Cavanagh began as student manager for the Florida Atlantic University men's golf team at the beginning of the 2014-15 season. A junior at FAU, he is majoring in business management.

Cavanagh was a member of the golf team during the 2013-14 season. He also played golf for head coach Jeffery Tweeton at Perham High School and is originally from Perham, Minn.
