SCHMIDT FAMILY COMPLEX
The Schmidt Family Complex for Academic and Athletic Excellence plays a central role in elevating FAU's academic and athletic standing while helping student-athletes reach their greatest potential. The facility received initial funding of $16 million from the Schmidt Family Foundation, the largest single gift in FAU's history. The Complex is located next to FAU Stadium. In addition to a student-athlete academic and leadership center, the state-of-the-art facilities includes a strength and conditioning wellness center, sports medicine center, locker rooms, the FAU MBA Sport Management Program, a history and tradition hall, indoor training center and outdoor practice fields.
