Athletics Begins the New Athletic Season with New Leadership Team

Prior to coming to FAU, he worked as an Assistant Director of Equipment Operations at Iowa State University for four years (2011-15). His responsibilities involved ordering, budgeting, inventory control and supervising student managers. His primary sports included men's and women's basketball, volleyball, swimming and diving as well as gymnastics. He worked directly with all vendors, including Nike, and was responsible for pregame locker room set-up. He also was a part of the equipment staff which hosted the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament in 2011 and 2013.
He joined Iowa State's staff after a three-year stint as the Assistant Director, and later the Director, of Equipment Operations at the University of Nevada, where he was responsible for each of the 17 intercollegiate teams as well as all inventory and support staff.
Zluticky worked as a Training Camp Intern for the Houston Texans during the summer of 2008. His responsibilities included setup and breakdown of drills, preparation for team travel, traveling with the team, as well as on field equipment repair.
He gained his first experience as a student equipment manager at his alma mater, the University of Kansas, from 2003-08. Zluticky earned his Bachelors of General Studies in Economics, with a Business minor, in May 2008. While at KU he was a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity.
Zluticky is a certified member of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association.
