Max A. Diaz joined Florida Atlantic University as an athletic trainer in July 2017 and is currently in his first year of a two-year fellowship with the FAU Sports Medicine Department. He will focus his time with the Owls' baseball team.
Prior to joining FAU, Diaz spent four years at Florida State University where he earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in athletic training.
While earning his bachelor's degree, Diaz assisted multiple sports such as baseball, men's tennis, and women's soccer. Diaz worked with the FSU baseball team for two seasons as an athletic training student and had the opportunity to attend the College World Series during the 2017 season.
Diaz is a state of Florida licensed NATABOC Certified Athletic Trainer. He currently resides in Pembroke Pines, Florida.
