Johnson brings four years of experience in athletics to FAU. He served as a student assistant in the sports information department at the University of Florida, where he was the chief student assistant to the media contact for the national champion men's basketball team.
Justin volunteered in the office during his final year of undergraduate studies as well as both years of graduate school. He assisted with various sports during that time and helped host SEC championships in softball, tennis, track and volleyball. He also helped with NCAA Regionals in baseball, gymnastics, soccer, softball and volleyball in addition to the 2003 NCAA Women's Tennis Championships.
A native South Floridian, Johnson completed his undergraduate degree in sport management at the University of Florida in 2003, and earned his graduate degree in sport management from UF in 2006.
