FAU Marketing Supplies Free Tickets to Area Youth

, Building a basketball community begins with youth and that is where Florida Atlantic University's Marketing Department has concentrated on disbursing tickets.

"Making tickets available to the Boca Raton community has been a central theme in our marketing efforts," said Jaime Taylor, FAU's Director of Marketing. "FAU's basketball games are a fun night out for families and is a perfect outlet to help the area's youth get involved in athletics and stay safe and off the streets."

Free tickets were first made available through the many local businesses which have been loyal sponsors of FAU athletics. FAU has now followed-up by making tickets available through the West Boca YMCA and will continue to seek out avenues to introduce the community to the outstanding competition played on a weekly basis on the Boca Raton Campus.

"FAU has so many things to offer," Taylor continued. "Athletics is just one. But, it is a way we can entice youth who may otherwise never have an opportunity to experience what college athletics has to offer."

Tickets are available for any service organization to receive free tickets to basketball and baseball games.
