Florida Atlantic University's Athletic Department teamed with ISN Wireless, a Nextel Preferred Partner, as the Official Wireless Provider for the Owls, announced Craig Angelos, FAU's Athletics Director, Tuesday. "We are thrilled with our new partnership with Nextel and ISN Wireless," Angelos said. "This has been a department priority, as we have tried to consolidate services and leverage our position to gain significant cost savings. We accomplished this with ISN and have increased our level of service. We are pleased to have them on our team." By securing an athletic sponsorship with one wireless provider the Athletic Department will have an affordable means of communication, something that can be invaluable to the care and welfare of the FAU student athletes. "ISN Wireless is proud to be a corporate partner supporting FAU's Athletic Program," said ISN Wireless Owner Stu Kolinsky. "As a Nextel Preferred Partner, we have been in Boca Raton for seven years and have witnessed the incredible growth and success of the athletic program. We are delighted to be a part of this continuing success story and hope to increase fan interest as a ticket outlet for FAU Football." ISN Wireless was chosen from three major vendors who presented proposals to Florida Atlantic Athletics. Comparisons were made based on the ability to meet the needs of the department, customer service with the consideration of network capability and travel schedules, as well as if the provider could meet the department's objectives while holding to the integrity of budget constraints.
