Student-Athletes Excel in the Classroom

June 3, 2003

Boca Raton, FL - Student Athletes at Florida Atlantic University continue to excel both on the playing field and in the classroom. For the 2002-2003 academic year 10 students were named to the President's List and 35 students were named to the Dean's List. A total of 173 students earned a 3.0 g.p.a. or better during the fall or spring semesters.

To earn a spot on the President's list a student must obtain a 4.0 g.p.a. To be a member of the Dean's List the student must be in the top-10% of his or her major.
