Athletics to Sponsor Essay Contest

Boca Raton - Florida Atlantic University's Athletic Department is sponsoring a Mother's Day Essay Contest. Palm Beach County Elementary School students are encouraged to enter for their chance to win an official FAU team jersey, season tickets for both the men's and women's basketball 2002-2003 seasons, season tickets for baseball and autographed posters from the FAU teams to your mother.
Contest Entry:
*Essay should be 200 words or less with the theme of your mother and why she should win the prize.
*Entries must be received by May 1, 2002. You can deliver it to FAU, mail it to Florida Atlantic University Athletics, Attention: Jaime Taylor, 777 Glades Rd, Boca Raton, FL 33431 or e-mail it to jtaylor@fau.edu.
*All students who participate will receive a pair of baseball tickets to an upcoming game. Remember to include your age and a home address, a place where your prize can be received.
