Orlando, FL - The students participated in many community service programs and outreach events. These programs included the Heartwalk, Toys for Tots, feeding the homeless, and working in the local soup kitchen.
Through these activities they reached 5,900 youth. Also, they disstributed 50,000 tickets for various activities.
Other activities included:
Trick or Treating with Henderson School,
Children for UNICEF/Del Prada Elementary Field Day,
free baseball and softball clinics,
Thanksgiving baskets,
once a month lunch bags,
Christmas toy drive,
Juvenile Diabetes Walk,
March of Dimes Walk,
NCAA Bring a Child to a Game Day,
First Mentors/Big Brothers and Big Sisters Student-Athletes,
the NYSP program,
Boca Community Middle School,
and Junior Achievement BASE (Building Achievement Through Sports and Entertainment) Program.
Members of the faculty volunteered 320 hours with Boca Community Middle School.
